#PBLWeek: A Celebration of the PBL Graduate

June 17 – June 21, 2013

As the 2012-13 academic school year winds down, we would like to introduce #PBLWeek as a way to celebrate the Project Based Learning (PBL) graduate. Whether the graduation is from Kindergarten or 12th grade, #PBLWeek gives us the opportunity to answer an important Driving Question about students who have experienced PBL in their school:

“What is remarkable about a PBL graduate?”

Throughout the week, we ask that you reflect on and share your answers via images on Instagram and video snippets on YouTube using the #PBLWeek hashtag. We will highlight the best of these on Pinterest.

Pinterest
Pinterest will allow us to “pin” photos and videos on the official board for #PBLWeek.

Photos
  • Include a word or phrase that answers the Driving Question, “What is remarkable about a PBL graduate?”
  • Include teachers, parents or students (great models), or project artifacts (great backgrounds).
  • Share the photos on Instagram and include the hashtag #PBLWeek in the description.

 Videos
  • Roughly 30-second snippets that have an answer to the Driving Question.
  • Include teachers, parents or students (great models), or project artifacts (great backgrounds).
  • Share the videos on YouTube and use #PBLWeek in the video’s title.
  • Share a link to your YouTube video on Twitter with the hashtag #PBLWeek.

The official board for #PBLWeek may be on Pinterest, but we’ll be updating all of our followers on Edmodo, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn about what is going on. So, stay tuned and contribute where you feel comfortable.
